Abby's Dance Recital

Abby had a dance recital on Monday. She did so well!
She looked so pretty in her pink dance clothes with sparkles in her hair.

Here she is with her class getting some last minute instructions from Ms. Michelle.
They did a tap dance and a ballet dance. Both dances were great!

We were really proud of her, especially because at the recital in December she didn't dance. She has grown up a lot and learned so much this year!

Elizabeth's Pretty Hair

Elizabeth's hair is getting super curly. In the picture below she had just woken up from a nap and wasn't too happy about having her picture taken, but I had to get a photo of her hair!
But we found out that it is long enough to get into a pony tail. She looked so cute! Just like a little ballerina. Because of the curls, it looked like she had a cute little bun.

Eggs!

Mom isn't the only one with a bird nest!

It's kind of hard to see, but inside the birdhouse in front of our house is a nest with 3 little eggs. Everytime we come out the front door or leave in the car, we see a blueish gray bird flying out. I haven't been able to get a better look at the bird...

UPDATE: We have baby birds. We just checked this afternoon and now we have babies. I couldn't get a good picture because the nest is in the birdhouse, but here's what I got.

Abby's Mother's Day Musical at Preschool

Abby's Preschool class did a Mother's Day Musical. All the songs were great and they gave all the Mom's flowers and a special Mother's Day gift afterwards.

Happy Easter (a month late!)

The girls sure looked pretty in their Easter dresses.
Grandpa and Grandma Kimber came for a visit the week after Easter. We loved having them here.

San Antonio

We went to San Antonio the end of March. The girls loved Sea World!

especially Shamu!

The penguin egg ride was a hit...

...especially for Elizabeth. She went on it again and again while Abby rode Shamu Express!

Here we all are with the penguins!

We also visited the Alamo.

and took a boat ride in the Riverwalk area.

We all had a lot of fun and now the girls take pretend vacations to Sea World with their babies!
