More photos of Elizabeth

A friend suggested I enter Elizabeth into the beautiful baby contest on Live with Regis and Kelly. So I've been taking pictures of Elizabeth, trying to get one that shows her fun personality...

She had lots of fun....

Laughing on the floor.....

...usually rushing to the the camera to see the picture before I had taken one!

Cute girls

Well...I hadn't taken any photos for a while and thought I would take some yesterday when the girls were all ready for church.

Elizabeth looked pretty cute today so I thought I'd take one another one of her.

Anyway here are the photos!

Merry Christmas!

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We had a very nice Christmas. Both girls were so excited for Christmas to come. Abby is at the perfect age - she has a super imagination and loved watching for elves (we usually heard them around dinner time), listening for reindeer bells.
She even liked sitting with Santa this year for the first time!
Elizabeth was excited because Abby was excited. It was fun to watch Abby try to explain things to Elizabeth. Elizabeth would just say "ohh", like she knew exactly what was going on.

Here are a few Christmas photos!

Christmas Jammies from Grandma Kimber! They love them!

Elizabeth LOVES her new bike. We've even got Abby to start riding hers now!

Happy Birthday Elizabeth!!!

Happy Birthday Elizabeth!!!! (She loves accessories.)

Well...I am a little behind on my posts. Elizabeth's 2nd birthday was December 20th. She was so excited to bo 2! Abby was also pretty excited for her.

Elizabeth loved opening her presents. After each one, she would say, "More presents?" She was a little disappointed when she was done. But got excited again when we explained that Christmas was only a few days away and she would have lots more presents to open.

She loved her dollhouse. (Abby loved it too!)

She looks beautiful in her Princess Belle dress. Now she can dress up and play princesses with Abby.

I think she had a pretty good day. We all went to Chuck E. Cheese's for dinner. The girls had so much fun playing! They were exhausted by the time we came home for cake!

Snowing!!

Well..Grandma Kimber didn't really believe Abby, but it snowed at our house this afternoon. Yes...snow in Texas. Who would have thought.
The story begins this afternoon around 2 p.m. when I was driving Abby home from preschool. Apparently they had been discussing snowmen and Frosty the Snowman. Abby said something like "Mom, when it's Christmastime and when it snows at our house we are going to make a snowman and it will be like Frosty!". I did my best to convince her that it was too warm at our house to snow. But we would call Grandma and have her take a picture of the snow at her house. And maybe Grandma could even make a snowman for us and take a picture of that too. Abby still tried to tell me that it would snow at our house on Christmas.

By the time we got home, I had pretty much convinced her that it wouldn't but Grandma would send us pictures.

About an hour after I put her down for a nap/quite time, Joeby called. She said it was snowing. I said "Where?" (Because of course it couldn't be here! I had just convinced Abby that it was too warm!) I looked out the window and sure enough it was snowing.

I tried to take a couple pictures, but I'm not sure how well they show the snow. (You can kind of see the snow gathered in the folds of our grill cover.)
I decided I'd better get Abby up. She was pretty excited and went out and played for a while. About the warmest jacket she had was a denim jacket.
I had no mittens. I found a scarf that Grandma made her a couple years ago.

She came to the door a couple times to tell me that her hands were "freezing!" Her nose was pretty red too! But she had fun!

And there was snow in Texas!
